Carbon 3D printing

Strength, lightness and durability: Omega Microfusioni's carbon 3D printing is the ideal solution for making objects and components that require high mechanical strength in a low weight. This technology is particularly popular in sectors such as aerospace, automotive and medical. By using carbon-filled plastic filaments, Omega Microfusioni allows complex geometries to be created, optimising production time and costs for prototypes and small series, with maximum precision.

The benefits of 3D carbon printing

Speed

we make quick prints, from single pieces to small productions, within 24/48 hours to guarantee on-time results.

Dimensions

With 3D printing, we can create large parts, up to 256x256x256 mm, perfect for functional prototypes or customised structures.

Resistance

Carbon 3D printing makes it possible to create parts that are stronger and lighter than normal wire printing.

Why choose Carbon Printing?

Omega Microfusioni's carbon 3D printing is the ideal choice for those seeking mechanical strength, lightness and durability, even in harsh conditions. This technology is perfect for structural applications in sectors such as aerospace, automotive and industry. Thanks to the combination of specific materials and our company's experience in 3D printing, we produce components capable of withstanding high loads and stresses, guaranteeing precision and quality in every project.

How much does a 3D print cost?

The prices of a 3D printed object depend on many variables:

  • dimensions

  • complexity

  • material

  • number of parts to be printed

  • time required for printing

For each project we provide a customised quote that takes all parameters into consideration

Printing times

The turnaround time for 3D printing is very fast:

single object: print in 24 hours

small productions: print in 24/48 hours.

Sizes and quantities

Print accuracy: 0.4 mm

Maximum size: 256x256x256 mm

Minimum order: 1 piece

Maximum order: 200 pieces. Above 200 pieces we recommend using a mould.

How we work to turn your idea into reality

Processing stages

At Omega Microfusioni, every step of the process is designed to put your needs at the centre. Whether it is a prototype or a small production run, our aim is to guarantee quality, precision and speed. Thanks to our experience and the use of state-of-the-art technology, we transform your project into a finished product that faithfully reflects your expectations.

Materials

Depending on the complexity and end use of the object, we at Omega Microfusioni advise the customer on the most suitable material for printing, choosing from different types of carbon-filled plastics.

PLA CF

Perfect for prototyping and lightweight functional parts, PLA with carbon is a 3D printer filament that combines PLA and carbon fibres, making it stiffer, lighter and stronger than regular PLA. Ideal for technical components, it has an opaque, quality appearance.

ASA CF

ASA with carbon is a 3D printer filament that combines ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) with carbon fibres, offering excellent weather resistance, UV stability, stiffness and light weight. It is ideal for outdoor applications and components exposed to harsh environmental conditions, while maintaining a high quality matt finish.

PET CF

PET with carbon is a filament for 3D printers that combines PET with carbon fibres, increasing rigidity, strength and dimensional stability. This material is lightweight, durable and offers an excellent surface finish, making it ideal for functional parts and technical applications requiring strength and precision.

PTEG CF

Ideal for technical and structural parts requiring mechanical strength and stability, PETG with carbon is a filament for 3D printers that combines the strength of PETG with carbon fibres, offering greater rigidity, heat resistance and lightness. It is durable, with good adhesion between layers and a quality matt surface.

PAHT CF

For advanced technical applications exposed to mechanical stress and high temperatures, PAHT with carbon is the ideal material. The filament for 3D printers is composed of high-temperature polyamide reinforced with carbon fibres and guarantees high mechanical strength, thermal stability and stiffness. It finds wide application for automotive and industrial components.

PA6 CF

PA6 with carbon is a very strong 3D printer filament made of polyamide 6 and reinforced with carbon fibres. This mix makes it ideal for industrial parts or components that have to withstand high stresses, due to its strength and ability to resist heat and wear.

Sustainability for Omega Microfusioni

With a keen eye on the environment, we recover leftovers and production waste to test, prototype and study the performance of recycled plastics. This approach allows us to minimise waste and contribute to a more sustainable production process.
